HAZEN PORTFOLIO
Welcome! Below are a few selected visuals that highlight points from my resume.
Thanks for stopping by!
CARFAX & AI PIPELINE
Base Objectives
-Develop a user-friendly animation product enabling content creation in-house, and streamlining team workflows with updates that populate in real-time.
-Allow for integration of evolving AI features, animations, and assets as projects continue.
-Enable the use of NVIDIA's Omniverse as a next-gen production method, train teams on new tech, and scale for additional clients.
Commercial Output Example
(Partner Agency handled the location shoot footage and audio)

Building the Tool
-Led cross-functional teams for developing the animation system,
-Worked with Designers on UI with three levels of complexity tailored to user needs and content goals.
-Facilitated syncs with Engineering and integrated AI features including Audio2Gesture and Audio2Face for automated performance generation.
-Managed a dynamic asset library within the tools DAM to include props, clothing, lighting rigs, and accessories.
Base Gesture Example
Rebuilding the Character
-Redefining the mascot from original concept art, revising body proportions, hair, wardrobe, and stylizing to modernize the character.
-Developed core blend shapes, emotional range, and object interactions through traditional animation.
-Integrated AI enhancements to generate expressive facial animations directly from audio, and enrich body gestures and movement.

Audio2Face Driven Example
GM Hummer Launch - Production Planning & 3D Workflow Best Practices
-Created playbook for VFX-based production to support future work with engineering, product planning, and creative teams.
-Used this project as a framework to train the PM team on Flow. Focuses were asset management, gantt structured dependency planning, and time tracking dashboards.
-(Partner Agency handled location shoot footage and audio)

High-Volume Asset Management
-Established and expanded virtual garage programs, orchestrating with engineering, design, product, market research and strategy teams.
-Coordinated workflows for complex data across thousands of configurations. All driving consistency at scale across multiple OEMs and enabling fast-paced digital content and apps.
-Delivered enhanced shopper tools, spearheading successful programs including the building of dedicated teams and pioneered efforts in VR and AR for the automotive industry.
Continuity Across Platforms
Leveraging Tech to Accelerate Launches
-Addressed misalignment between the physical product and digital, allowing for high-fidelity 3D workflows using OEM CAD, reducing reliance on early-stage, product inaccurate, costly prototypes.
-Developed decks that quantified program successes to justify scaling to additional clients.
-Recorded measurable increases in engagement and sales with results presented in QBRs, securing continued investment for future iterations.
LEGO - Leadership Across Global Campaigns
-Set process for North America XFN teams across a wide range of digital initiatives with high-volume assets for packaging, marcom & ecomm, in-store displays, and apps for global IPs like Marvel, Star Wars, and Queer Eye.
-Drove cross-regional best-practices with strategy, analytics, and design teams in Connecticut, the EU, and APAC to support product launches, including underrepresented lines like LEGO Books.
-Partnered directly with LEGO’s internal engineering and technical design teams to integrate workflows and ensure alignment with brand standards.
-Developed and iterated Flow support for XFN teams, support documentation, RACIs for clear stages and roles, and detailed project tracking which enabled efficiency across complex, stakeholder-heavy work streams.
Respecting agreements with LEGO- content reels are not created. Work can be discussed if live on their site, on social media, or partner sites as seen here:
